Details for the Up The Empire release party for their new EP Loose Ends are in! UTE will be taking the stage with numerous guests, and is bringing Boston’s Bon Savants and our own Ford & Fitzroy along for the ride. It’ll be one hell of a fantastic night… and, just so you know… probably your only chance to get your hands on a physical copy of the new CD. We haven’t pressed very many of these puppies… so, first come, first serve. Get there early and don’t miss a minute!

It’s a beautiful day in NYC today and only partially because of the nice cool weather we’ve got. The new 4 song Up The Empire EP ”Loose Ends” is back from getting mastered over at Spleenless, and goddamn it sounds GOOD!; Doug Keith’s art work for his new full length is getting finalized & he also begins rehearsal tonight for the Rhys Chatham’s 200 guitar work “A Crimson Grail” which will be performed for FREE outside at Lincoln Center this Friday, and lastly, Clair is whispering in our ears about a new EP and a follow up album coming quickly down the pipes. All in all, a pretty good start to a day. We’ve got a lot more than this up our sleeves though. Stay tuned. No comments
We just came across this nice little Up The Empire interview at (the now defunct) MusicPlusTV from their 2007 trip out to the West Coast. New music from UTE coming out the pipes very very soon.No comments
