Just a quick update for today…

Doug Keith is playing this THURSDAY, AUG 21 at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC.  He’s on at 11pm sharp… and to make it all the more better…  he’ll be playing with a full band!  The band will consist of Ben Lord (Up The Empire), Kendall Meade (Mascott), Lindsay Sullivan (Clair) and Margaret White (Portatastic).  Pretty Sweet!

This should be enough to hold you over until our next big bash when we take over Union Hall on Sept 5th with Cougar past & present…  Doug Keith, KaiserCartel & Clair all together.  Kickin’ Ass, Takin’ Names (on the mailing lists) and drinkin’ up.  Mark your calendars, people!

News News News

It’s a beautiful day in NYC today and only partially because of the nice cool weather we’ve got.  The new 4 song Up The Empire EP ”Loose Ends”  is back from getting mastered over at Spleenless, and goddamn it sounds GOOD!; Doug Keith’s art work for his new full length is getting finalized & he also begins rehearsal tonight for the Rhys Chatham’s 200 guitar work “A Crimson Grail” which will be performed for FREE outside at Lincoln Center this Friday, and lastly, Clair is whispering in our ears about a new EP and a follow up album coming quickly down the pipes.  All in all, a pretty good start to a day.  We’ve got a lot more than this up our sleeves though.  Stay tuned.
